Remember When...

Remember when my dad picked up a crab and it pinched the plastic bag and wouldn’t let go. We found some shells at the rocky shore. 

We raced out to the playground and Bailey came in my car. We had so much fun. 

Then we had lunch under a shady tree. When the shrimps came to eat the dead crab you couldn’t see them. They were see through.

Remember when I went kayaking by myself. Some people were kayaking and the others were swimming. Dad came with me. I love the rocky shore. 

That was a fun day!

Remember When...

Remember when everyone in the school went to the Mount. We ate morning tea - gobble and crunch. 
We went to the beach and looked for crabs. Me and Flat Stanley went on the see saw, it was fun. 
We played and splashed in the salty water. We splashed each other. Ms D. went in too. I went with Taylah the first time but then I went by myself in a big kayak and then a little one too. 
We saw the Queen Elizabeth float away as we had fish and chips. My Dad came and picked me up. Cameron, Conor and Mum stayed the night. 
That was an awesome trip!

Everyone in Kuranui School went to the Mount . We gobbled up our lunch under a big, shady tree

We walked to the beach and we saw some crabs. The crabs tried to pinch us but we were too fast.

 We walked to Pilot Bay and had a swim in the salty water. Ms Daniels and I went for a kayak. We splashed Jacob with the paddle he splashed us back.

We watched the queen Elizabeth float out to sea while we were eating our fish and chips. After our spectacular day I went home with Fleur and Troy. It was awesome.

Mum and I drove to the Mount. 

We found some crabs and I looked for shells, I found some sparkly shells. 

Then we went to the harbor. Kayaking was so much fun because we went out deep. 

We built giant sandcastles and put shells on them. 

We had fish and chips for dinner and went home.

I went to the Mount with Lucille. We walked to the rock pools and looked at the crabs. We climbed over the rocks. It was lots of fun. I walked around the Mount. It was amazing. I went in the water and I tried the salty water and it tasted disgusting.

I walked around the Mount and I saw the waves crashing and splashing on the rocks and then we had fish and chips. It was an awesome day.

Mum drove me to the Mount. We had lunch at the camp ground. We climbed over the rocks and saw some crabs.

We went for a swim and then I paddled with Danielle. We both paddled hard but Jacob crashed into us.

Remember when Dad and I drove to Mount Maunganui to meet my friends. 

We gobbled up our morning tea under a big, giant, shady tree. Me and my learning team saw some crabs in the rock pools. We raced over to the play ground and ate our lunch.       

Remember when we slid down the slide as fast as a race car then went down the wiggly slide as slow as a tractor. 

Remember when we had a swim and built seaweed sand castles, and then we went home after a fun day.

Remember when Zoe and her Mum drove us to the rocky shore to meet all of the school children. Annabella, me and Zoe came all together. We watched a movie in the car, it was Chugging Time. 

We climbed on the rocks and saw crabs in the rock pools. They were hiding in the rocks. 

We saw a medium sized crab, it had sharp pincers. 

Remember when we went around the Mount, my feet got very hot and my legs got tired. The whole school got tired. My mum came at morning tea time. Then she stayed with me for the rest of the time. Mum, Daniel and me caught up to my learning team and Daniel kept following me until we stopped at the rock pools and Daniel got to have a swim and I built a sand castle and Leah helped me then we watched the big Queen Elizabeth boat sail out to sea. 

We had fish and sausages for dinner and that was our rocky shore day.

Remember when Mum and I drove to the rocky shore. 

After we had morning tea we looked for crabs and paua shells.

We went fishing and Josh B fell in. 

Remember when I walked around the Mount and we found some seaweed and baby paua shells and we heard big waves crashing on the rocks.

I found a big, fluffy, white feather. 

We crunched up fish and chips for dinner. 

That was one fun day.

I went with Mr Rastrick to the beach.

We saw the crabs peering back us.

We played at the playground and it was fun there.

We went kayaking with two people and then I went all by myself and I was good at it. I love kayaking because I went with Mr Rastrick and then I went by myself.

Remember when I went around the Mount and we saw giant rocks. Then we had fish and chips for dinner.
